SeaDream Yacht Club is the innovative new yachting venture by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad who founded the highly acclaimed Seabourn Cruise Line. The company now operates the two ultra-luxury mega yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II introduced as the prototypes of the luxury, intimate yachting experience.
SeaDream I and SeaDream II are large yachts with 47 to 55 staterooms. The newest edition of the authoritative publication The Berlitz Guide to Cruising, rates the SeaDream staterooms as tops in the industry. Second, the yachts are operated as yachts, not as cruise ships. The closed, highly organized structure of cruising is replaced aboard these elegant twins with an open, unstructured ambience---casual yet refined and ideal for a discerning clientele with a personal, fulfilling lifestyle and a desire for club-like privacy.
SeaDream I and SeaDream II feature similar stateroom accommodations. The staterooms range from 18 m2 (Yacht Club Stateroom – max. 55 units) to 37 m2 (Commodore Stateroom - max. 8 units combination of 2 Yacht club ones), and include an Owner’s Suite of 45 m2. Using the 8 Commodore staterooms decrease the number of total suites from 55 to 47. Each stateroom has a complimentary bar. There is also a complimentary open bar policy throughout each yacht. Open seating dining “gourmet dining” aboard our yachts is both elegant and casual and has been highly rated in authoritative guides and other publications. All meals can be taken outside with all guests at the same time (some of them using more “private” areas if wished) as is the case on yachts. There is as well a luxury Dining Salon inside, an Outdoor Café, a Library, the Club Salon, a Casino, a Piano Bar, a Main Salon Bar, a Satellite Bar, as well as a full service Spa, swimming pool, beauty salon, boutique, and a retractable water sports marina at the stern of each yacht. The Club salon is suited to be used as a night-club or as a conference room whenever needed. Service is of the highest order with approximately one staff member for each guest. Tipping is not necessary.
SeaDream I and SeaDream II are manned by Scandinavian officers and an international staff and crew. Gross tonnage is 4,250. Length is 334 feet. The beam of each yacht is 47 feet. Maximum speed is 14 knots. Both yachts fly the Bahamian flag.
SeaDream I and SeaDream II sail mostly to small, seldom-visited ports along the Mediterranean coast and to little known Caribbean islands, but our captains have the option of taking guests to alternate ports-of-call for a beach barbecue, a unique shoreside experience or to another island to pick up some local seafood.
Guests aboard our yachts are affluent and discerning travelers who have highly personal and casual lifestyles. The unstructured nature of life aboard SeaDream I and SeaDream II has strong appeal for them. The yachts are ideal for small meetings and incentive groups and are available for full charter.
